Henry Kise, Warren Journal 9/12/1849

Henry Kise, of Hardwick, was drowned in Sand Pond. He was fishing and when in the middle of the pond a portion of the bottom of the boat gave way, which caused it to sink. His body was not found until the following day. He was between 50 and 60 years of age.
 

Margaret Tunis, lifelong resident of Florham Park

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb 7 at the Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home in Madison for Margaret E. Kice Tunis, 82, who died Friday, Feb. 2, 1996 at the King James Care Center in Chatham Twsp.

Mrs Tunis was born in Hackettstown and was a lifelong resident of Florham Park.

She was a bookkeeper for the former Downs Motor Co. in Morristown before her retirment in 1975. Previously, she had worked as a bookkeeper for Ideal Dairy Farms in Florham Park and at the Madison National Bank.

Mrs. Tunis was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Florham Park.

Surviving are two daughters, Betty Albert of Parsippany and Patricia Tunis of Rockaway, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of Everett, who died in July 1995.
