About the Family Roots

Our family lived in Morris, Sussex and Warren counties of NJ. My grandfather E.V. Tunis was on the Florham Park Fire Dept and Police Dept. He was a Detective for the borough and served over 36 years on the force. His brothers and cousins also served on the Fire and Police Departments. The family has been in the Florham Park area for many generations and to this day, still are involved with the Fire Department. The family is written about in the book "Saga of a Crossroads" by Eleanor Weis. My Grandfather, Everett Tunis, was one of the founders of the Afton Gun Club.
